Frequently Asked Questions

It is mandatory for all businesses that are e-Invoice payers and for companies that exceed a certain turnover limit from online sales. However, any business can voluntarily switch.

An e-Invoice can only be issued between two e-Invoice users. An e-Archive Invoice is used when the sender is an e-Invoice user, but the recipient is not (a company or an end-consumer).

Retail businesses that issue all their documents as e-Archive Invoices may be exempt from the obligation to use a new-generation cash register (POS), under the conditions set by the GIB.
